Is Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Savior? Have you ever invited Jesus into your heart? If you die tomorrow, where will you go?
If you answered, “No,” or “I don’t know,” to any of the above questions, I encourage you to keep reading. ~
There is only one way to get to heaven; faith in God through Christ Jesus.
† Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
† “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31)
† “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Good works cannot save you!
† “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2: 8-9)
The Bible Provides a Very Simple Plan for Salvation
First, you must admit that you are a sinner.
† “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
† “If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” (1 John 1:10)
As a sinner you are condemned to death and an eternity in hell separated from God.
† “For the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23)
Second, understand and believe that God loves you deeply, and because He loves you so much, He sent His Son Jesus to bear your sins and die in your place. Jesus was then buried and shortly thereafter rose from the dead.
† “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
† “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Third, repent of your sins and ask God for forgiveness.
† “…God … now commands all men everywhere to repent.” (Acts 17:30)
† “…unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:5)
Fourth, invite Jesus into your heart and into your life as your personal Lord and Savior.
† “…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
† You can say this simple prayer:
Dear God, I know I’m a sinner and I need your forgiveness. Thank you for saving me through Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross so that I might have life eternal. I repent of my sins and invite
You into my heart and my life as my Father and personal Savior. Thank you for Your forgiveness, for Your mercy and for Your gift of salvation. Amen.
If you said that prayer and truly meant it, your new life in Christ has begun! It’s that simple!!
† “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Now that you are a Christian and have invited Jesus into your heart, the next step is to develop your relationship with Him. You should:
1) Buy a Bible and read it daily. The Bible is God’s Word. It contains His Truth and it will guide you, encourage you, admonish you and teach you.
† “Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” (Psalms 119:105)
2) Spend time with God in prayer daily. How did you and your best friend become best friends? You spent time together and got to know each other. Your relationship with God is no different. To grow in Him, you must spend time with Him. Talk to Him, pour your heart out to Him. He’s more than your Savior, He’s your Heavenly Daddy. He cares for you like a father cares for his child. So, don’t be shy. If you seek Him, you shall find Him.
† “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding , will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)
† “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” (1 John 5:14-15)
3) Join a church where you can worship and fellowship with other believers, where Christ is preached and the Bible is the final authority and where you can be baptized in the name of the Holy Spirit.
† “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)
† “…not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25)
4) Share your testimony and tell others about Christ.
† “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ , for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.” (1:16)
† “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark16:15)
